I’m not liking the Braves’ chances.
The way the negotiating stars are aligning, B.J. Upton is moving into the vortex of a Braves-Phillies competition for a center fielder.

Upton seems to be an underachieving ass. With Ross, Chipper, and Hinske gone, there’s not enough of a veteran presence to keep someone like that in line. Let the Phils have him.
Still not impressed. Career high in HR but career low in walks and career high in K’s, which have increased almost every year he’s been in the league. Frenchy with speed. I’ve probably said that before. Maybe. Anyway, I’d much rather have Justin.
Upton struck out more than Uggla. If you’re going to spend the money for him, why not just spend it on Bourne?
Why do we keep bringing in and pursuing players who strike out all the time?
