More evidence Wil Myers is available
In their search for a top-of-the-rotation starter, the Royals have dangled outfielder Wil Myers, the consensus 2012 minor league player of the year, two sources told Yahoo! Sports.
The right-handed hitting Myers split last year between Double-A Northwest Arkansas and Triple-A Omaha, batting .314 with 37 homers and a .987 OPS. The converted catcher saw action at 3B and CF in 2012 but projects as a corner outfielder.
To repeat: I’d trade Teheran and Delgado to get him.

If the Braves could get Alex Gordon and Wil Myers, I’d trade pretty much any two young pitchers for them.
Intriguing indeed, but I think they’re looking for a frontline major league starter. Would you trade Med Dog for Myers?
No way.
I’m with the Office on this. Teheran and Delgado have the potential, but they have yet to show it on the big league level. Last year this time, I would have said no.
No Myers to Braves. Would be willing to send Cain and Hochevar with top pitching prospect (not Odorizzi) for Hanson.
I’d do Cain for Hanson in a heartbeat.
Cain for Hanson would be terrific and it actually seems like a realistic transaction.
^ I’m all for that one.
The Royals are looking for frontline starting pitching if they trade Myers. Why did you bring up Teheran and Delgado?
Because they are projected frontline starters and the Royals are cheap.
