The 20 worst A-Braves (non-pitcher edition)
Best/worst lists are not beneath the Office. We’ve plumbed these depths many times before.
Surprisingly, we’ve never counted down the all-time worst Braves.
Here’s a partial list of contenders (non-pitchers only). I’ve left out too many to count, so your nominations are welcome.
- Damaso Garcia
- Corky Miller
- Ken Caminiti
- Greg Norton
- Pat Rockett
- Melky Cabrera
- Matt Young
- Julio Lugo
- Chris Woodward
- Mike Hessman
- Rey Sanchez
- Jordan Schafer
- Jody Davis
It’s a long offseason.
He may be #20 but this list cannot be complete without Oberkfell.
Rico Brogna didn’t exactly set the world on fire. But for what was expected of him, how about Reggie Sanders?
Francouer should be there. Frank LaCorte merits some consideration, too. I agree about Oberkfell.
No pitchers, just everyday players on this list.
Andres Thomas, Dan Uggla
Jim Morrison
Brad Komminsk; I second rankin’ rob on Andres Thomas as well
Craig Robinson, Terry Blocker
Without a doubt, the worst free agent Atlanta Braves player in history has got to be Mr. Vertigo himself, Nick Esasky. We paid how many million for that guy, and we ended up getting one – just one – run batted in? He may be the worst free agent signing in Major League history!
Quilvio Veras, Keith Lockhart, Robert Fick, Ernie Whitt, Omar Moreno, Billy Sample.. just a few
Whitt, Davis, Virgil, Mike Heath…see a theme here? On a different theme, how about Scott Thorman?
Oh, don’t forget Raul Mondesi. Also, Corky Miller and Craig Wilson.
