In Medlen I trust

“People approach things negatively and positively, and I’m one of the positive people. I don’t think like, ‘Oh man what if we lose.’ I’m thinking, ‘Man, what if we win!’

And they will, with No. 54 toeing the slab.

  1. I don;t see Meds folding under playoff pressure. He’s a cool customer. Just hope the offense shows. Looking for Freddy and J-Hey to have big games.

  2. If we can avoid the traditional “deer in headlights” Braves October at bats and goofy errors in bad spots we should be golden.

  3. I also trust in Medlen, but I had my traditional Playoff Panic last night and will be filled with dread until Kris toes the rubber this afternoon.
You never know, Meds might get devoured by a Vermicious Knid on the way to the ballpark or something.

  4. The experts (and most of us) are predicting a low scoring, 2-1 or 3-2, type game. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit if we end up having a game more like the Rangers-A’s final game where both teams rack up runs. Nerves tend to derail pitchers, even veteran pitchers.

  5. If we have a low-scoring game, and the Braves are leading late, do we replace Uggla at second base with Prado, and move Constanza to left field to give us the best defense to protect the lead?
