If he was your agent though, you’d certainly appreciate it…you can’t argue that the guy gets results for his clients.
It’ll suck watching him play for the Yankees or Red Sox. But if the Nationals sign him I’ll have no more illusions about how competitive we will be going forward. I love McCann, but give the money to Bourne, if we have any chance.
You may be able to keep both — non-tender JJ and trade Hanson, who I believe is due a big raise.
As for Boras, he may get his clients top dollar but doesn’t always guide them to teams where they are most comfortable — see Crawford, Carl.
Not the best idea to publicly come out and say this about his agent. That being said, I hope we arent the ones paying him 100+mil. For the next 6 yrs.

Why not let JHey play CF, let gattis/reed johnson fight for a spot in LF, and spend money on a corner OF. As far as leadoff– small sample but i like Simmons getting a crack at it.
