Open Thread, 8/10, Braves v. Ed Kranepools
Sorry for the late post. Braves are already up 2-0 on Mets phenom Matt Harvey and still hitting. Let’s get a sweep.

Very nice game. Jay-Hey hits another bomb, Uggla is back from the dead, and Maholm looked (dare I say it?) Maddux-esque on the mound tonight.
With all of the ground balls, I was thinking Tommy John but as the Ks piled up, Greg crossed my mind, too. I love that guy’s makeup and stuff. He’s a great addition to the staff.
Granted it is only the Mets, but Maholm was brilliant. I know Washington’s rotation is the best in the game, but they aren’t THAT good. If Uggla is hitting down the stretch we will handle those upstarts when we see them again.
