Don’t ask rhetorical questions if you don’t want to hear the answer

From Jeff Schultz’s interview w/ Fredi:

“You go over it in your mind a million times. You ask yourself, ‘Is there something I could have done better?’” Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez said.

  1. Stop taxing the bullpen;
  2. Stop bunting every other play;
  3. Stop pitching to studs when the Michael Martinez’s of the world await on deck;
  4. Stop batting .230 hitters who get on base less than 30 percent of the time in the two-hole.

He asked.

    He possesses a kind of arrogance borne from brute stupidity. Let’s hope he gets fired at mid season.

    “Ask someone with a clue what to do” covers all contingencies.

    We’ll find out the difference between Bobby and Fredi pretty quickly if J-Hey doesn’t get out of the gate with a hot start. I expect Fredi to begin throwing players under the bus pronto if things aren’t all blue skies and sunshine.
